Barcelona extend Oscar Gistau's contract to 2028

Barcelona have renewed striker Oscar Gistau's contract until 2028, with an option to extend a further year. Gistau will join Hansi Flick's first‑team pre‑season training on 13 July. The previous agreement was set to expire in 2027, so the new deal adds an additional year. The extension reflects Barcelona's confidence in Gistau despite his recent injury setbacks. Over the last two seasons Gistau suffered two major injuries that limited him to seven appearances in Segunda RFEF. He has now returned to training and rebuilt his fitness with Barça Atlètic.
