Benjamin Pavard bids farewell to Marseille after loan
Benjamin Pavard, the 30‑year‑old French defender, posted on social media on Monday to announce his departure from Olympique de Marseille after a season‑long loan from Inter Milan. The message marked the end of his spell with the Ligue 1 club.
In his statement Pavard wrote that “a page turns with Marseille” and that he always tried to give everything on the field and represent the club with respect and commitment. He reflected on the emotions and lessons he gathered during the loan.
He recalled the memory of a locker room that stayed united until the end and thanked the club, staff, teammates and everyone who stood by him throughout the campaign. He wished Olympique de Marseille good luck for the future.
