Chelsea and Manchester City chase AIK winger Zadok Yohanna
Journalist Sebastien Vidal posted on X that Chelsea will face stiff competition for AIK winger Zadok Yohanna. Manchester City is also reported to be in the race for the Nigerian youngster this summer.
Yohanna, 18, broke into AIK’s first team last season, recording five goals and four assists in 12 matches across competitions. He is contracted with AIK until the end of 2029, which may limit a cheap transfer for Chelsea.
The player is described as a decent dribbler who can drive down the right flank and generate chances for teammates. While he possesses power in his shots, he remains raw and will need time to adapt to the Premier League.
Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso is expected to integrate Yohanna into the attack, though Alonso will have to be patient with his development at Stamford Bridge. Alonso believes the winger can fight for a regular first‑team place if he continues to improve.
In a separate note, Xabi Alonso is identified as the head coach of Real Madrid, observing a LaLiga EA Sports match between Real Madrid and Real Betis Balompie at the Santiago Bernabeu on 4 January 2026.
