Chelsea and Newcastle submit £21m bids for Zadok Yohanna

Chelsea and Newcastle United have both had £21m bids accepted for 18-year-old winger Zadok Yohanna. The Premier League clubs tabled €25million (£21.6m) offers, which Djurgårdens IF accepted. Yohanna, who turns 19 in November, is now set to choose between the two English clubs. Djurgårdens IF confirmed the bids were accepted but did not reveal Yohanna’s preference. The winger joined Djurgårdens IF in January 2024 from AIK. He made 12 Allsvenskan appearances last season, scoring once and providing two assists. Yohanna has also featured for Sweden’s U19 and U21 teams. Chelsea and Newcastle United are now expected to finalize negotiations with Yohanna and Djurgårdens IF. The clubs have until the end of the transfer window to secure his signature. Yohanna’s next move will hinge on contract terms and playing time guarantees.
