Ryan Sanusi verlaat Beerschot na zeven seizoenen
Ryan Sanusi, 34, will leave Beerschot after seven seasons, the club announced on Tuesday afternoon through its official channels. His departure marks the end of a era for the Belgian side.
Sanusi is a product of Beerschot’s youth system, having risen through the ranks of the club known as the Mannekes. He has spent his entire senior career with the team.
During his time in the purple‑white shirt, Sanusi made 150 appearances for Beerschot. His consistent presence contributed to the squad’s stability over the years.
He was part of the squads that achieved promotion to the top flight in 2020 and again in 2024. Those promotions highlighted his role in the club’s recent successes.
Sanusi also served as the club captain, a position that earned him admiration from teammates and supporters. The club thanked him for his contributions upon his exit.
Looking ahead, Beerschot will rely on its academy and new signings to fill the leadership void left by Sanusi’s departure. The club remains focused on its upcoming season.
