De Laurentiis Calls Milan President Over Allegri Payout
Aurelio De Laurentiis called Milan President Paolo Scaroni to get an update on the Massimiliano Allegri situation.
Allegri remains under contract with Milan until 2027, but was dismissed after the club failed to qualify for the Champions League.
Allegri has reached an agreement to become Napoli coach, but he is demanding a payout that Milan is unwilling to grant. Scaroni said an agreement between Milan and Allegri is only a matter of time, while De Laurentiis stressed that Napoli do not want to be drawn into the dispute.
Allegri is set to sign a two‑year contract at the Stadio Maradona with a salary of €4.5 million per season. He was head coach of Milan when he reacted during the Serie A match between Genoa CFC and AC Milan at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on 17 May 2026.
