France women face Poland in World Cup 2027 qualifier
France women travel to Poland on Friday aiming to secure top spot in Group A2 with a win. The Poles sit bottom of the group with no points after four matches.
The UEFA Women’s World Cup 2027 qualifier kicks off at 18:00 CET in Radom. France currently sit second behind the Netherlands with seven points from three wins and one draw.
Poland have lost all four matches so far, conceding 13 goals without scoring. France last met Poland in November 2023, winning 6-0 in Valenciennes.
France manager Hervé RENARD named an unchanged squad from the 6-0 win, with Wendie RENARD and Marie-Antoinette KATOTO starting. Goalkeeper Pauline PEYRAUD-MAGNIN returns after injury.
Poland’s lineup includes goalkeeper Weronika KONDRACKA and defender Natalia PAWLAS. Midfielder Paulina BARAN has missed the match due to suspension.
A France victory would clinch first place in the group if the Netherlands do not win their postponed match against Greece.
