Almería Targets Alessio Lisci to Replace Rubi

Spanish side UD Almería have identified Italian coach Alessio Lisci as a replacement for Rubi. Lisci will become available after Osasuna announced he will not stay for the 2024‑25 season. Rubi signed a contract extension with Almería that runs until 2027. The club could therefore make a radical coaching change by appointing Lisci. Osasuna disclosed that Lisci has one year remaining on his current deal. Despite the remaining year, the club confirmed his departure at season's end. Almería have already reached out to Lisci following the Osasuna announcement. The Italian coach is expected to enter the market within a week. Replacing Rubi would free up a long‑term contract for Almería. Lisci’s availability adds a new option to Almería’s coaching market.
