Real Betis Targets Cruzeiro Left‑Back Kaïki Bruno
Real Betis are monitoring Kaïki Bruno, the left‑back of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. Betis intend to use a Champions League berth as incentive in competition with FC Barcelona and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.
Kaïki Bruno has been a regular starter at Cruzeiro. Both Barcelona and Flamengo have also expressed interest in securing his services.
The principal hurdle for Betis is the non‑EU player quota in La Liga. The quota limits the number of players without European citizenship a club may register.
Should Betis obtain a Champions League spot, they could meet the quota by off‑loading another non‑EU player. The outcome will shape the transfer market for the Brazilian defender this summer.
