Betis prices 19-year-old Pablo García after reserve stint
Real Betis has placed a price on 19-year-old forward Pablo García. He is being linked with a possible departure after a mixed season between senior and reserve football.
Pablo García received limited senior minutes under head coach Manuel Pellegrini during the campaign. Unable to secure a regular role, he spent the latter part of the season with Betis' reserve side.
The reserve team was relegated to Segunda RFEF following a decisive loss to Cartagena on the final matchday. The defeat confirmed the side's drop from the third tier.
In the reserve campaign García netted seven goals in nine appearances. His strike rate underscored his offensive contribution amid the team's struggles.
For years he has been regarded as one of the academy's top prospects.
Betis now faces the task of managing his contract while considering the set price.
