Real Sociedad Quartet Joins Spain Camp in Las Rozas
Real Sociedad have sent four first‑team players to the Spanish national team’s training camp in Las Rozas. The camp is the opening stage of preparation for the 2026 World Cup. The arrival occurred before 17:00 on the day of the call‑up.
Coach Luis de la Fuente named captain Mikel Oyarzabal, midfielder Jon Martín, defender Sergio Gómez and goalkeeper Beñat Turrientes as the Real Sociedad contingent. All four crossed the gates of the Ciudad del Fútbol residence in the afternoon. Their presence adds club representation to the squad.
The gathering marks the first time Oyarzabal has been in the federation house together with the three younger teammates. The image of the quartet together had not occurred previously. Their joint appearance underscores the blend of experience and youth.
The players will join the national group for the initial preparation phase ahead of the World Cup qualifiers. Their training will take place under de la Fuente’s direction at the Las Rozas facilities. The inclusion reflects Real Sociedad’s contribution to Spain’s World Cup project.
