Real Oviedo targets Getafe winger Álex Sancris
Real Oviedo has intensified talks to bring Álex Sancris from Getafe CF into the squad. The club is weighing a loan with a purchase option against a permanent transfer that includes a future sell‑on percentage.
Sancris is 26 and has only residual minutes in La Liga this season. His limited top‑flight exposure underscores the need for regular playing time.
Oviedo holds a points differential over Burgos in the Segunda División. That margin is cited as a factor in the club's push for additional attacking options.
The Asturian side currently has no roster spot available at the Coliseum. Adding Sancris would alleviate the shortage of wing positions.
Getafe CF retains Sancris under contract but is open to a loan or a sale that secures a percentage of any future transfer fee. The arrangement would give both clubs financial flexibility.
If the deal closes, Sancris could provide depth on the flanks for Oviedo’s remainder of the campaign. The club expects him to compete for minutes immediately.
