LNR postpones 2027 final to 2028 at Spotify Camp Nou
Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) will shift the 2027 championship final from Spotify Camp Nou to 2028. The venue will instead host the two semifinals in the later year.
The change follows delays in the stadium’s roof installation. La Dépèche disclosed the postponement after Midi Olympique reported the construction setback in December.
The semifinals are slated for late June 2028, after FC Barcelona’s season ends. The timing avoids any clash with football fixtures and protects the pitch.
The semifinals will be played under the newly installed cover. The shift removes the final from the venue until the roof is ready.
LNR will confirm the final’s new venue once the roof is completed. The adjustment keeps the 2027‑2028 calendar intact for both rugby and football stakeholders.
