Enrique Riquelme Names Rodri as Real Madrid Target
Enrique Riquelme, 37, candidate for Real Madrid presidency, revealed a targeted signing on the program Tiempo de Juego. The player named is Spanish midfielder Rodri, who currently plays for Manchester City.
Riquelme had previously said two elite players were under agreement if he won the election on Sunday 7 June. The disclosure occurred during the COPE broadcast of Tiempo de Juego.
Riquelme described Rodri as a defensive pivot for the Spanish national team. He stated that Rodri would join Real Madrid should Riquelme become president.
