FC Porto renews contract with Mariana Queirós until 2026/27
FC Porto has renewed the contract of Mariana Queirós, the youngest player in the squad, keeping her at the club through the 2026/27 season.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who joined Porto’s youth academy in 2022, becomes the first player from the current first-team roster to secure a long-term extension this summer. Her new deal comes as Porto strengthens its squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Queirós has featured in 12 first-team appearances this season, primarily as a substitute in Liga BPI matches. She also played a key role in Porto’s under-19 team that reached the national youth final.
Porto’s sporting director, Luís Castro, emphasized the club’s commitment to developing young talent from within. The renewal aligns with the club’s strategy to integrate academy graduates into the senior team.
