Fiorentina target Burnley winger Koleosho and Leicester defender Okoli
Fiorentina are targeting Burnley winger Luca Koleosho and Leicester City centre‑back Caleb Okoli as part of a plan to boost the number of Italian players for the 2026‑27 season. Sporting director Fabio Paratici and General Manager Alessandro Ferrari flew to New York to meet club president Giuseppe Commisso and outline summer transfer strategies.
Koleosho spent the final six months of the 2025‑26 campaign on loan at Paris FC and will return to Burnley, who have been relegated to the English Championship. He earned his senior Italy debut in June 2026, starting friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece under interim coach Silvio Baldini.
Okoli, a former centre‑back of Frosinone and Atalanta, is valued at €10 million and has attracted Fiorentina’s interest. Leicester City have listed the defender on the Italian club’s radar for the upcoming window.
Koleosho featured in a Sky Bet Championship match between Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley on 19 October 2024, while Okoli celebrated a goal in a Premier League clash between Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester City on 12 April 2025.
