Hertha Berlin eyes Paris FC midfielder Darvich as Winkler replacement
Hertha Berlin plan for the 2026/27 season include signing Paris FC midfielder Mostafa Darvich. The Bundesliga club received their 2026/27 license on June 5, 2025.
Darvich, 22, is Hertha Berlin’s primary target to replace midfielder Tim Winkler. The 24-year-old Winkler left Hertha Berlin for VfB Stuttgart in January 2025.
Paris FC director of football Régis Beunardeau confirmed Darvich is available for loan or permanent transfer. Hertha Berlin sporting director Fredi Bobic met with Beunardeau this week to discuss options.
VfB Stuttgart has not ruled out loaning Winkler back to Hertha Berlin. Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat stated the club is open to discussions regarding Winkler’s future.
Darvich played 28 matches for Paris FC in Ligue 2 last season, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists. He featured in 15 of the club’s final 16 fixtures under manager Stéphane Ziani.
Bobic aims to finalize Darvich’s transfer before the club’s next transfer window opens on July 1, 2025.
