Ian Burchnall to join Michael Skubala at Bristol City
Ian Burchnall is set to become Michael Skubala's assistant manager at Bristol City.
The club is also in talks with QPR first‑team coach Steve Bould for a backroom role.
Burchnall previously managed Notts County and Forest Green Rovers.
He was assistant manager at Belgian side Anderlecht before a spell at Wolves under Gary O'Neil.
He served as first‑team coach at Aberdeen under interim boss Peter Leven last season.
He worked with Steve McClaren and the Jamaica national side last year while close to a Rotherham manager appointment.
In Scandinavia he has coached Viking and succeeded Graham Potter at Ostersund.
Lincoln assistants Chris Cohen and Tom Shaw remained at the Imps after Skubala’s departure.
Former Arsenal defender Steve Bould spent seven years coaching at Arsenal under Arsène Wenger and Unai Emery before joining QPR for a year.
