Jorge Mendes rules out Vitinha and Neves leaving PSG
Joao Neves and Vitinha will remain at Paris Saint-Germain this summer despite Real Madrid interest. Their agent Jorge Mendes confirmed the news to Fabrizio Romano.
Neves, 21, and Vitinha, 26, have become key players for PSG. Neves features prominently in the UEFA Champions League, with 14 matches, two goals, and three assists this season. He is often rested in Ligue 1.
Vitinha has been an ever-present across all competitions. He played 17 Champions League matches last season, scoring six goals and providing one assist. Overall, he made 50 appearances in all competitions.
Mendes emphasized that neither player was ever a realistic transfer target elsewhere. "Vitinha and Joao were never an option for anyone," he told Romano. "They are non-negotiable for Paris Saint-Germain and they are very, very happy in PSG—they will continue collecting trophies."
The Portugal internationals will now focus on the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
