Juventus decide to sack CEO Damien Comolli before key meeting
Italian reports state Juventus have already decided to end CEO Damien Comolli’s tenure after one year in charge. The decision was reportedly made before Comolli attended a scheduled meeting with club officials on Thursday.
Moretto, speaking on Romano’s YouTube channel, claims a 99.9% chance Comolli will leave his position. The reports follow speculation over Comolli’s future amid Juventus’ disappointing 2025-26 season.
Comolli and head coach Luciano Spalletti met with owner John Elkann after the season concluded. Initial reports suggested no major changes to Juventus’ senior management, with Spalletti gaining more influence over transfer decisions.
However, recent updates indicate Comolli’s position is less secure than previously thought. Technical director Francois Modesto’s future is also in doubt, having been appointed by Comolli and failing to impress in his first year.
Juventus are reportedly considering Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali as a replacement. Club legend Giorgio Chiellini may be given a more prominent role in the new structure.
The Bianconeri’s hierarchy faces further upheaval as multiple executives’ futures remain uncertain.
