Juventus eye Tarik Muharemovic with 50% discount
Juventus have renewed interest in signing Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo. The Bianconeri could involve Vasilije Adzic in the negotiations.
Muharemovic joined Sassuolo from Juventus in 2024 and signed a permanent deal in 2025. Juventus retain a 50% sell‑on clause, which would give them an effective 50% discount if they re‑sign him this summer.
Sassuolo hope Muharemovic’s performance in the FIFA World Cup 2026 European Qualifiers KO play‑offs match against Italy on 31 March 2026 will raise his market value. Muharemovic competed for the ball with Italy midfielder Marco Palestra during that qualifier. Earlier reports linked Muharemovic with a possible transfer to Inter this summer. Reports cite interest from several unspecified Premier League clubs, which Sassuolo view as a potential bidding war.
Juventus consider the 23‑year‑old ready for a step up to a side aiming for Champions League qualification next season. They see the prospect of Europa League football in 2026‑27 as a suitable stepping stone and may offer a loan of midfielder Vasilije Adzic to sweeten a deal.
