Marc Casado Linked to Al Hilal Deal for Cancelo

FC Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado is reportedly being considered for a move to Al Hilal. The inclusion of Casado in a deal is aimed at facilitating Barcelona’s effort to retain veteran defender Joao Cancelo. Joao Cancelo is contracted to Al Hilal until 2027 after a loan spell in the second half of the 2025/26 season. Barcelona want to sign Cancelo permanently and see Casado’s involvement as a way to lower the overall cost. Casado, 21, has indicated he is open to the Saudi option and views the sporting and financial incentives positively.
