Craig McLeish appointed St Mirren manager on three-year deal
Craig McLeish has been appointed manager of St Mirren on a three-year contract. The Scottish club confirmed the appointment after completing its recruitment process. McLeish replaces the interim role he held last season.
During his interim spell last season, McLeish guided St Mirren to top‑flight survival. The club described the hiring as the result of a thorough, data‑driven process aligned with its football strategy on and off the pitch. St Mirren evaluated a number of external candidates before naming McLeish the outstanding candidate.
The three-year deal gives McLeish ample time to implement his vision. The Buddies aim to build on the survival achievement and improve league standing. St Mirren expects the data‑driven approach to shape recruitment and on‑field performance.
McLeish will oversee pre‑season preparations ahead of the next Scottish Premiership campaign. His contract runs until 2027, providing stability for the club's long‑term plans.
