Mike Maignan Holds Off Transfer Decision, Juventus and Chelsea Await
Mike Maignan of AC Milan has not decided on his future, while Juventus and Chelsea monitor the situation. Chelsea, a Premier League club, have shown longstanding interest.
AC Milan’s boardroom overhaul follows failure to qualify for the 2026-27 Champions League, with sporting director Igli Tare, technical director Goeffrey Moncada and CEO Giorgio Furlani departing, as well as head coach Massimiliano Allegri after the 2025-26 season.
Other senior players linked with exits include Rafael Leao, Luka Modric and a report that Massimiliano Allegri intends to sign Adrien Rabiot for Napoli.
Maignan remains in camp with the France national team, a favourite for the 2026 World Cup in North America, and is unlikely to decide before AC Milan appoints a new head coach.
A recent Serie A match at Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium saw Maignan observing the game, captured by Marco Luzzani.
