Portugal beat Czech Republic 3-0 in Euro Beach Soccer qualifier
Portugal defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 in the first match of the Euro Beach Soccer League qualifying round for the Superfinal, held in Cádiz, Spain.
Bê Martins opened the scoring in the first second of the game, delivering a strong start for the Portuguese side.
The Czech team struck the bar three consecutive times early on before Filipe Santos, known as Tim, equalised with a bicycle kick in the 11th minute, putting Portugal ahead.
In the second half, captain Jordan Santos sealed the victory by adding a third goal at the 23-minute mark.
The third period saw Portugal create several further chances, but they were unable to extend their lead beyond three goals.
Coach Bruno Torres oversees the Portuguese squad, which now faces Turkey and Belarus in the remaining matchdays of Division A Group B of the European League.
