Laurent Nuñez Details Security Plan for Champions League Final

Interior minister Laurent Nuñez announced on Wednesday 27 May that a security operation will be implemented for the Champions League final. The final is scheduled for Saturday 30 May at 18:00 and will feature Paris Saint-Germain against Arsenal. Nuñez detailed the plan in the evening of the same day. The operation will mobilize 22,000 police officers and gendarmes throughout France. The forces will be stationed across the country. The deployment includes both police officers and gendarmes. The security plan will be activated on 30 May. Activation coincides with the 18:00 kickoff of the final.
