Real Madrid End Pursuit of Julian Alvarez
Real Madrid President Florentino Perez confirmed that the club will not submit any further offers for Julian Alvarez. The statement followed a €150m proposal that Atletico Madrid rejected.
Real Madrid had announced a €150m bid for Julian Alvarez, which Atletico Madrid turned down. Atletico Madrid responded on social media, urging Los Blancos to stop “stealing” academy players.
Earlier interest in Vitinha, Joao Neves and Michael Olise was reported, but Real Madrid are not continuing any pursuit of Alvarez. Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich were also linked with the Argentine forward earlier. The club indicated no immediate need for the striker.
Barcelona showed strong interest, yet Atletico Madrid declined their offer, preferring to keep Alvarez out of La Liga transfers. Arsenal now appear the most likely destination, with Paris Saint-Germain having ended its interest.
