Roma set to renew Zeki Celik, Dybala and Pellegrini contracts

AS Roma, now guided by newly appointed sporting director Tony D’Amico, are moving to secure extensions for Zeki Celik, Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini before their contracts expire at the end of June. Celik’s renewal is reported at €2.8 million plus bonuses, offering the Turkish international a modest raise over his previous deal.

The club has already confirmed that Stephan El Shaarawy will depart, ending his spell with the Giallorossi. His contract will not be extended.

The agreement for the former Lille player is now finalised, confirming his stay at Trigoria. The deal includes performance-related bonuses in addition to the base €2.8 million figure.

Paulo Dybala, known as La Joya, is pursuing a lower‑rated renewal that ties a €3 million per season salary to appearance and performance clauses. A final contract has not yet been signed, leaving the Argentine star’s future pending.

Lorenzo Pellegrini’s talks remain ongoing, with the club yet to reach a definitive agreement. Optimism persists that the number 7 will continue to feature for Roma at Trigoria.

Tony D’Amico’s effective takeover as sporting director has accelerated the club’s efforts to lock in key players. Roma expects to close the remaining deals shortly, aiming for squad stability ahead of the new season.
