Sergio Ramos submits new offer for Sevilla FC
A meeting on Wednesday brought Sergio Ramos and Sevilla's top shareholders together to discuss the club's sale. Ramos presented a new offer that alters the previously agreed conditions. The shareholders must respond by Monday because the exclusivity clause ends on 31 May.
Sevilla FC, the Andalusian club, is currently owned by its majority shareholders. An earlier exclusivity agreement set the 31 May cut‑off for negotiations.
Ramos, a former Real Madrid defender and former Spain captain, is seeking to acquire the club. The revised terms differ from the original proposal, though specifics were not disclosed.
Should the offer be rejected, Sevilla may reopen negotiations with other parties after the exclusivity expires. The decision will determine the club's ownership structure before the next season begins.
