Manchester City bid for Elliot Anderson rejected by Forest
Manchester City’s opening offer for Elliot Anderson was rejected by Nottingham Forest.
Forest confirmed they would not entertain any bid for the midfielder at this stage.
The 22-year-old has featured 38 times for Forest this season, scoring five goals.
Anderson joined Forest in January 2023 from Newcastle United for a reported £30m fee.
City’s interest follows a string of Premier League clubs monitoring the midfielder’s progress.
Forest manager Steve Cooper stated the club values Anderson and expects him to remain.
