Two Juventus directors face exit after Comolli leaves
Damien Comolli has left his role as Juventus CEO after one year, mutually agreeing to depart with €850,000 in severance pay. Giovanni Carnevali will replace him as CEO.
Technical director Francois Modesto is also set to leave Juventus, with reports suggesting an announcement could come within hours. Modesto was appointed by Comolli and his exact responsibilities have been unclear.
Sporting director Marco Ottolini’s position is under review, though he is currently more likely to remain than Modesto. Ottolini was appointed midway through the 2025-26 season.
Juventus confirmed Comolli’s departure on Friday, marking the end of his brief tenure in Turin. The club’s management structure may see further changes beyond these exits.
