27 Arrested After PSG Champions League Win, 14 Minors
On Monday 1 June, the Paris public prosecutor’s office reported that 27 people were referred to the court after celebrations of Paris Saint‑Germain's Champions League victory. Fourteen of those referred are minors.
The same briefing noted that 312 individuals had been placed in police custody in connection with the post‑match disturbances. Those detained were held for questioning in the days immediately following the final.
Arrests took place across several districts of Paris as authorities responded to public‑order incidents linked to the win. Police units focused on dispersing crowds and identifying participants involved in the unrest.
The 27 individuals constitute a subset of the 312 people initially detained. All 27 will be presented to a Paris magistrate as part of the judicial procedure.
