Warren Zaire Emery said he felt frustrated after being omitted from Paris Saint-Germain’s starting XI for the Champions League final. He explained that the decision was the coach’s formula and that he cannot hold it against him. Emery had been first choice throughout the season and logged more minutes for Paris Saint-Germain than any other player across all competitions. Yet he was named on the bench for the final. He added that seeing the team win allowed him to be happy despite the earlier disappointment.
