Arsenal eye Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi
Arsenal have confirmed interest in 19‑year‑old Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi, but the Cherries are not prepared to sell.
Bournemouth’s stance and Kroupi’s own remarks suggest a deal would require a major shift.
Kroupi scored 13 goals in 35 Premier League appearances in his debut season, including goals against Arsenal and the decisive winner against Manchester City on 19 May 2026 that helped Arsenal clinch the title.
His tally also featured three goals against Manchester United and three against Tottenham Hotspur.
Sami Mokbel of the BBC and Fabrizio Romano have both reported Arsenal’s interest, while Mark Douglas of The i Paper noted that clubs such as Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint‑Germain have also been linked with the forward.
Paris Saint‑Germain was previously reported as Kroupi’s preferred destination before dropping out of the race.
Bournemouth have no release clause for Kroupi and are demanding a price of £100 million or more, with his contract running until 2030.
The club indicated that the earliest realistic transfer window would be 2027.
When asked about his future, Kroupi said he is happy at Bournemouth and is focused on the club’s upcoming European campaign.
Andoni Iraola, who succeeded Arne Slot as Liverpool manager, praised Kroupi’s finishing and expects him to play even more minutes next season.
Kroupi arrived from FC Lorient for €13 million after netting 23 goals in 32 Ligue 2 matches, adapting quickly to English football.
Photographer Eddie Keogh captured images of the forward during his rise, underscoring his status as one of Europe’s most watched young attackers.
