Paris Saint-Germain target Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Olise
Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Olise. He is the club’s main summer transfer target.
Sporting director Luis Campos has already assembled Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele, with Ibrahim Mbaye waiting in the wings. Yan Diomande was previously thought to be the main target to reinforce the flanks. Dembele now operates as a false nine. Barcola and Mbaye could leave the club this summer in search of game time.
Olise recorded 22 goals and 31 assists in 57 appearances this term. In Germany he has delivered 42 goals and 54 assists in 104 appearances for the German champions.
Real Madrid have shown interest but were told he is not for sale. Jose Mourinho reportedly scouted him in the DFB Pokal final versus Stuttgart. Uli Hoeness is at the helm of Bayern Munich and is not afraid to take negotiations public. PSG may find it difficult to persuade Bayern to sell the 24‑year‑old attacking midfielder/winger.
