Arsenal Target Bradley Barcola to Boost Left Flank

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing 23‑year‑old Bradley Barcola to add a dynamic wide forward after a standout season with Paris Saint‑Germain and a decisive goal in France’s 3‑1 World Cup win over Senegal. The club, fresh from a Premier League title and a Champions League final loss, aim to sharpen their left flank.

Barcola, 23, is described as young, quick and technically refined, and he has already been trusted in major moments for Paris Saint‑Germain. Paris Saint‑Germain prefer to retain him, reflecting his rising profile.

Paris Saint‑Germain also admire two players linked with Arsenal: Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez and Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers. Liverpool, under Andoni Iraola, are also reported to be tracking Barcola while seeking two wide forwards this summer.

At Arsenal, Barcola would compete directly with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard on the left side. Mikel Arteta is said to be aiming to lift the level of the starting eleven rather than merely add squad depth.

Arteta’s challenge, according to the analysis, is that a Premier League triumph heightens the need for evolution as opponents study champions more closely. Barcola is presented as offering directness without chaos, youth without rawness, and European pedigree without decline.

The main concerns revolve around price and priority, especially if Arsenal also pursue Morgan Rogers while PSG consider both Rogers and Julian Alvarez. With Liverpool also circling Barcola, Arsenal must act with clarity and speed to secure the target.
