Barrow sign Altrincham midfielder Isaac Marriott on undisclosed terms

Barrow have completed the signing of midfielder Isaac Marriott from Altrincham. The 26-year-old arrives with 148 National League appearances for Alty since December 2021. Barrow, recently relegated from League Two, confirmed the deal in June 2026.

Marriott made 51 appearances in all competitions for Altrincham during the 2025-26 season. His arrival adds midfield depth as Barrow rebuild after last season’s drop.

Club manager Adam Murray praised Marriott’s consistency and technical ability. "He's somebody we know we can rely on week in and week out," Murray told the club website. "He's known for his aggression, he's very front-footed but technically very good. He comes with a really good reputation."

The transfer was finalised in June 2026, though Barrow have not disclosed the contract length. Marriott’s move follows Barrow’s relegation from League Two at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

Barrow’s summer rebuild continues with Marriott joining as the club targets an immediate return to the Football League.
