Brighton sign Costinha from Olympiacos for £8m

Brighton have completed the signing of Costinha from Olympiacos. The right‑back has agreed a five‑year contract and the deal is valued at £8 million.

Head coach Fabian Hurzeler said Costinha has the defensive capabilities, intensity and ball‑play required by the club. He added that the defender will increase competition at right‑back and fits Brighton’s model of signing emerging talent for long‑term development in the Premier League.
