Che Adams eyes Wolves move despite €5m Venezia bid

Scotland international Che Adams is being courted by Wolverhampton Wanderers even though Serie A newcomers Venezia have reportedly tabled a €4‑5 million offer. Adams enters the final year of his three‑year Torino contract after netting nine goals in 36 Serie A appearances and six in 33 the following season. Reports from tuttomercatoweb indicate that both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Venezia are monitoring Adams, with the English club set to compete in the EFL Championship after their recent relegation from the Premier League. Wolves' interest aligns with Adams' desire to return to the United Kingdom, according to the outlet. Venezia, the 2025‑26 Serie B champions, have secured promotion to Serie A and remain eager to add the striker to their squad. The Italian side has not indicated any intention to abandon its pursuit despite Torino's resistance. Torino reportedly rejected an initial €4‑5 million proposal from Venezia. Wolverhampton Wanderers have yet to submit a formal bid for the Scotland forward. Adams signed a three‑year deal with Torino after leaving Southampton on a free transfer in 2024. The contract will expire at the end of the 2025‑26 season, placing him in the final year next campaign. In his debut Serie A campaign, Adams recorded nine goals across 36 matches. He added six goals from 33 appearances in the 2025‑26 season. The striker is preparing to join Scotland's squad for a World Cup qualifier against Morocco ahead of the 2026 tournament. A photograph by Valerio Pennicino captures Adams celebrating the opening goal in Torino's 23 April 2025 Serie A clash with Udinese at Stadio Olimpico di Torino.
