Giovanni van Bronckhorst appointed Feyenoord head coach

Giovanni van Bronckhorst returns to Feyenoord as head coach, signing a two‑year deal. He leaves Liverpool where he worked with Arne Slot last season. Van Bronckhorst replaces Robin van Persie, who was dismissed after just over a season in charge. He will bring in Sipke Hulshoff, a former Liverpool staff member, as he previously managed Feyenoord from 2015 to 2019, winning the 2017 Eredivisie title and ending an 18‑year title drought.
