Juventus agree Martinez deal as Inter target Atta and Solet

Juventus have reached a principle agreement with Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez for a three-year contract worth €5m per season. The deal requires Villa’s approval, with Juventus offering €10m to secure his services. Inter Milan are pushing to sign defender Ousmane Solet and are considering Atta as an alternative. Atalanta have opened talks with Oaktree Capital as their first interlocutor for Solet, whose valuation remains a sticking point. Juventus’ pursuit of Martinez follows a rejected €150m offer from Real Madrid for midfielder Alejandro Alvarez, which Atletico Madrid declined. Martinez’s move would mark Spalletti’s first major signing since taking charge at Juventus. Palestra provided an assist for Inter in their pursuit of Solet, while Chivu also featured in new meetings regarding the defender’s future. Milan have offered a two-year deal to manager Stephan Glasner, who is set to arrive from Crystal Palace. Arsenal’s reported €100m bid for Kenan Yildiz was swiftly rejected by Juventus, with sporting director Federico Comolli stating the player is not for sale. Yildiz remains keen to stay at Juventus. Napoli blocked a move for midfielder Khalaili, while Roma’s Gasparello is under pressure to leave. Pulisic’s future at Milan remains uncertain as Aston Villa push for a deal. Frosinone’s Palmisani is being monitored. Sorloth and Udinese completed a double operation, adding a box-to-box midfielder and a defender. Meanwhile, Juventus are also in talks with Atletico Madrid over Alvarez, amid ongoing controversy. Spalletti is reportedly considering a different profile in midfield, with Kessié’s future under review. Brahim Díaz is expected to remain at Milan, while Ibrahima Konaté faces criticism over his World Cup reporting. The World Cup begins tomorrow with Mexico facing South Africa, introducing several new rules. De Biasi launched his tenure at Torino with a message referencing Abate’s ambition, while Yildiz’s future remains a focal point for Juventus.
