Liverpool have held talks with the representatives of 18‑year‑old Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, while Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are also reported to be in contact, journalist Fabrizio Romano said.
Bouaddi made 30 Ligue 1 appearances last term and helped Lille secure a place in the UEFA Champions League.
The Moroccan international featured in Morocco’s 1‑1 draw with Brazil in the 2026 FIFA World Cup opener and was highlighted as one of the tournament’s standout players.

He signed a contract extension in December, yet Lille are prepared to sell him for €70 million (£60 m). Bouaddi is a former France youth international.Inter Milan bid for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones falls short
Liverpool view his positioning, tackling and two‑footed ability as a boost for a midfield that was often exposed last season; his arrival could also increase uncertainty around Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones, both linked with exits. The club is also said to be monitoring Monaco’s Lamine Camara as an additional midfield option.
