He explained that when a club like Real Madrid comes along and insists they want you, it is very hard to turn that down. Cucurella said he never hesitated and believed it was the appropriate step for his family and himself. The transfer, he said, was completed in a day and a half after the clubs reached an agreement, and he did not hesitate when the opportunity arose. He described the speed of the deal as very fast. Cucurella added that his priority is to avoid distractions and concentrate on the World Cup, which he described as an important opportunity.
