Real Madrid asks UEFA to strip Barcelona titles

Real Madrid have formally asked UEFA to remove the titles Barcelona won during the period under investigation in the Negreira case. The club submitted a detailed complaint seeking sporting sanctions against Barcelona. The complaint, prepared over recent months, includes a dossier that Real Madrid claim contains substantial evidence. President Florentino Perez has discussed the issue with UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin and FIFA president Gianni Infantino as part of the club’s strategy. UEFA has not announced any disciplinary decision and its own examination of the matter remains paused pending legal developments. The governing body retains the ability to evaluate the case and impose measures if warranted. Images accompanying the report were provided by Denis Doyle and Angel Martinez.
