Roma's Robinio Vaz faces uncertain future as loan talks linger

Robinio Vaz's future at AS Roma remains undecided after his €22 million winter transfer from Olympique de Marseille, as the 2007‑born striker has recorded only 313 minutes, one goal and two assists for the club.

The deal also included €3 million in potential bonuses. Vaz joined Roma during the January window, moving from Marseille.

In all competitions he has featured for just 313 minutes. His lone goal came against U.S. Lecce, complemented by two assists.

Vaz has never been selected in the starting eleven. Coach prefers to retain Nicolo Malen, who has netted 14 goals in 18 Serie A matches.

Il Tempo a final decision on Vaz's status is still pending. The club is weighing options as the season approaches its crucial phase.

Roma could consider loaning Vaz if a club promises him regular first‑team football. Such a move would aim to give him a season of prominence.

Alternatively, the Trigoria side may keep him to develop behind two other strikers. This scenario would see Vaz remain at the Stadio Olimpico without guaranteed minutes.

Club director D’Amico is reportedly trying to accelerate the decision process. He hopes to resolve Vaz's situation within the coming weeks.
