Ruben Amorim appointed AC Milan head coach

Ruben Amorim has been appointed head coach of AC Milan for the coming season. The appointment follows weeks of media speculation and is now confirmed by the club. Amorim said he knows what AC Milan stands for, describing its history, prestige and worldwide fanbase, and expressed pride in taking the challenge. He was most recently under contract with Manchester United, from which he was dismissed in January 2026. He remained without a club until the AC Milan announcement.
