Tottenham Near £60m Deal for Manchester City’s Savinho

Tottenham are edging closer to completing a deal for Savinho from Manchester City. The reported fee is around £60 million. The transfer would be the first outgoing move for Manchester City this summer. James Olley said Tottenham believe Savinho wants to sign for them this summer. Olley added that negotiations between Tottenham and Manchester City are progressing. Should Savinho leave, Manchester City will seek a replacement winger. Hugo Viana emphasised that Manchester City must avoid entering the new season short of wingers, especially after 19 City players participated in the recent World Cup.
