AC Milan's summer overhaul: eight departures, two Belgians spared
AC Milan, under new coach Ruben Amorim, is set for a sweeping summer overhaul that could see eight players listed for transfer, even as Belgian midfielders Alexis Saelemaekers and Koni De Winter appear insulated from the purge. Amorim has already confirmed the €75 million signing of striker Gonçalo Ramos and is close to completing the acquisition of defender Mario Gila from Lazio.
According to La dello Sport, eight players are on AC Milan's transfer list. The list includes striker Rafael Leão, priced at €60 million, midfielder Ismaël Bennacer whose salary is a burden, and Youssouf Fofana, whose contract situation values him at €25 million. Defender Fikayo Tomori, who rejected a new deal, is also slated to leave to avoid a free exit next year.
Other names on the list are Ruben Loftus-Cheek, deemed tactically unsuitable, forward Santiago Giménez, who is paying his final missed months, and the duo Warren Bondo and Pervis Estupiñán, who have been told to secure new clubs promptly.
In contrast, Belgian internationals Alexis Saelemaekers, who impressed in the first part of the season, and Koni De Winter, a regular in the rotation, have been explicitly spared and will feature in the new era that begins this week at Milanello. The divergent paths underscore a massive squad reshaping while retaining two home‑grown Belgian talents.
