Anderlecht demands €4m as Schalke chase N'Diaye

RSC Anderlecht and German club Schalke 04 are still negotiating a permanent transfer for 24‑year‑old Senegalese left‑back Moussa N'Diaye, who joined Schalke on loan in the winter and made 14 Bundesliga appearances with two assists, while Anderlecht demands a €4 million fee.

Moussa N'Diaye arrived at Schalke 04 on loan from RSC Anderlecht during the winter window and quickly became a regular in the Bundesliga side. Initially, both clubs considered extending the loan to limit financial exposure, but Anderlecht prefers a permanent transfer that brings cash into its coffers.

Schalke 04 secured promotion by winning the 2. Bundesliga, returning to the top flight for the upcoming season. The German club sees N'Diaye as a valuable addition to its squad for the Bundesliga campaign.

The original loan agreement contained no purchase option, yet Schalke wishes to sign N'Diaye outright. Anderlecht has set a transfer fee of €4 million, a sum Schalke has not yet agreed to pay, leaving negotiations unresolved.

N'Diaye was born in Dakar and completed part of his development at the Aspire Academy before moving to FC Barcelona's youth system. His Senegalese heritage and training background are noted in his player profile.

RSC Anderlecht signed the versatile left‑back in 2022, and he has since made more than one hundred appearances for the club, playing both as a left‑back and a centre‑back. His experience at Lotto Park underscores his adaptability.

Transfermarkt values N'Diaye at no less than €4 million, matching Anderlecht's asking price. With two years remaining on his contract, Anderlecht holds a strong negotiating position.
