Roma need around €50m in capital gains before June 30, prompting scrutiny of saleable players. Kone and Matias Soule are highlighted because their book values are about €15m each, while Roma could demand higher fees.
Roma value Kone between €40m and €50m, meaning a sale would generate a significant profit. Kone joined Roma from Borussia Monchengladbach in June 2024 for €18m and operates as a central midfielder, a No 6/No 8 hybrid.
Kone is currently with the France national team at the World Cup, keeping him visible. Declan Rice said his mother “killed” him after a sunburn photo during England’s World Cup preparations. Ethan Nwaneri scored in England’s 6‑0 behind‑closed‑doors win over Miami FC before leaving the World Cup camp. Arsenal are Premier League champions.
